Jan Thiel Bay is a touristy bay with very nice diving and plenty of other family activities nearby.

Jan Thiel Bay is located at the south eastern outskirts of Willemstad situated on a nice sandy beach with a coral reef just offshore. It is a popular tourist destination with several bars, nearby holiday parks, delicious dining and many tour operators for all sorts of water activities. Attractions nearby are the Curacao's Sea Aquarium, Dolphin Academy and Animal Encounters Lagoon for swims, interactions and sightings of some of the world's most admirable and fierce sea animals. You can go horseback riding and there is a large Ostrich Farm that makes for a great safari. The land of several plantation, such as Jan Thiel, Koraal Specht and Sorsaka, offer sights of salt ponds, steep oceanfront cliffs, the Den Dunki Bridge and the cave Kueba di Wela. The waters of Jan Thiel Bay are clean and offer superb snorkeling and some of the best known wrecks and reef dives in Curacao.
